Betty Slatko, REALTOR® / Property Advisor

Betty Slatko grew up in New York City.  She left the bustle of the city to attend college in Vermont and fell in love with New England's beauty and culture.  She and her family have been here ever since.

After moving to Massachusetts, she attended graduate school, receiving a Masters degree in Public Administration concentrating in the area of housing policy.  After earning her degree, Betty was the Executive Director of the Williamstown, MA housing authority.  During her tenure she obtained federal grants to build and administer housing for elderly MA residents.

Settling in Ipswich over 25 years ago, she and her husband Barton, have raised their three daughters.  They have four grandchildren who delight in visiting Ipswich, especially Crane Beach.

For over ten years Betty has been representing both buyers and sellers in real estate transactions on the North Shore of Massachusetts.  Her skill as a listener and negotiator contributes to her success in working with buyers and sellers.  Her sales performance has earned her such recognitions as Realtor of the month and Presidents Club.

Betty is a member of the local real estate board, North Shore Association of Realtors, (NSAR) as well as the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).  She has served for several years on the Government Affairs Committee at the North Shore Association of Realtors and is currently the chair.
